It’s the dream of every Little Leaguer to make it to the bigs. And once in a while, a player from a local league does just that. Just 13 years after playing at Crabtree, RHLL alum Brandon Guyer made it to the majors, with stints in Tampa Bay and Cleveland, where he took the field for the Indians in the 2016 World Series.

Brandon went from RHLL to Herndon High, UVA, and was drafted in 2011 by the Chicago Cubs before joining Tampa Bay. And today, we have a special treat — a message from Brandon to the whole league as we start the 2017 season:
