Registration for Reston Little League’s 2016 Winter Skills Clinics are now open. The winter skills clinics are designed to provide instruction in baseball fundamentals in preparation for the spring 2016 Little League Season. The winter skills clinics are divided into three sessions:
Session One – General Skills Clinic (Majors through AA): Session One is for players who expect to play in AA, AAA, or Majors the spring of 2016. This session provides a review of baseball skills review and fundamentals. Players will be grouped by skill level. AA players may signed up for both Session One and Session Two.
Schedule: January 3 and runs each Sunday through January 24th. Clinics are generally 90 minutes and are scheduled between 10:00 and 5:00.
Session Two: AA Pitchers/Catchers Clinic - Designed for players who expect to AA Baseball in the spring of 2016. This will generally be players who are 7 to 9 years old and have played at least one year of A-ball. This session focuses exclusively on the basics of pitching and catching.
Schedule: January 3rd and runs each Sunday through January 24th. Clinics are generally 90 minutes and are scheduled between 10:00 and 5:00.
Session Three – General Skills Clinic (T-ball through A Ball): Session Three is for players who expect to play Tball through A Ball. This will be players who are generally between 4 and 7 years old. This session will provide an introduction/review of basic baseball skills and game concepts in a fun and fast paced session designed to keep our younger players learning, while having fun. Players will be grouped by experience – to include players who are new to baseball through those with several years of experience.
Schedule: February 21st and runs each Sunday through March 13th. Clinics are generally 60 minutes and are scheduled between 10:00 and 5:00.
